Pioneer sells more than 20 unique, high-yielding, and high-quality alfalfa varieties in 13 countries through thousands of local Pioneer sales professionals. Pioneer has two research stations for alfalfa breeding and is one of the very few seed companies that are actively breeding and producing alfalfa seed. Breeding efforts are focused on developing superior-performing varieties through improved yield, winter hardiness, and stand persistence.
